The flowerpot dolly was developed from a need to
move flowerpots across various hard surfaces without the planter
sliding off the plant stand and/or cheap casters not allowing smooth
movement from one place to another.
The 12-gauge steel (.105”) is laser cut, punched,
formed and spot-welded to create a low profile, easy-to-move
platform that is friendly to both the deck and planter. After our
assembly of the base unit, the Flowerpot Dolly is powder-coated to
provide a finish that is attractive and will last for many years.
There are 3 heavy-duty, non-marring, ball-bearing swivel casters
capable of supporting 150 lbs. each attached.
The Flowerpot Dolly comes in 4 sizes with an
inside diameter of 11”, 14”, 17” and an oversize 22” for whiskey
barrels and/or larger pots.
These distinctive brackets allow the deck gardener
to enjoy flowers on their deck railings without impacting the top
surface of the rail. The mounting point is on the vertical posts
which protects the tops of the railings from water damage, rot and
discoloration and allows the excess water to fall outside the deck.
These heavy-duty brackets are made from 12-gauge
laser-cut steel and are powder-coated for color and many years of
service. They attach to the vertical 2”x 2” posts on most cedar deck
railings with just 1 screw; and are easily removed during the off
season without removing the screw. Each bracket has 2 holes to
secure the flowerpot to the bracket for safety as needed.
The railing brackets
can be used at any level on the post to create an interesting effect
or take advantage of the view from the deck while still having
flowers in sight!
